1972 Chevrolet C10 for sale in Charlotte, North Carolina

$29,995

Now that trucks have earned a spot in collector's hearts, you're going to find some pretty nice haulers on the market. Few will be as gorgeous and well-finished as this 1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup, however. With just two owners since new and as the recipient of a recent and intensive restoration, this truck is simply spectacular. Purchased from the original owner in 1975 with 24,000 miles on the clock, it has been a fair-weather toy in Charlotte, NC ever since. The body was recently stripped to bare metal and completely refinished, although thanks to its excellent care over the past 36 years, no body panels required replacement and there is no sign of body filler anywhere. The paint is two-stage Glasurit in the original white color, and thanks to the extensive use of stainless trim on the top-of-the-line Cheyenne model, it looks amazing. Panels fit together better than new, and every detail has been adjusted to make this one of the tightest trucks we've ever represented. Even the woodgrained insert in the tailgate is in excellent condition, and no, there are no reproductions available. The only modifications are a billet grille insert which really cleans up the nose of the truck, and traditional blue dots in the original vertical taillights. The black bench seat interior definitely sports some upgrades, taking this heavy hauler to a whole new level. The seat is in excellent condition with no splits or tears, and the door panels and their woodgrained inserts are just as nice. Overhead there's a cool pleated headliner that dresses up the cab, and a gorgeous burled walnut gauge panel makes the factory gauges look like they were borrowed from a Bentley. You'll also note that this truck carries factory A/C, which works properly, as well as an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo. Other luxury features include a tilt steering column, power steering and power brakes. The engine is a correct 3999290 casting 402 big block that appears to have been swapped very early in the truck's life. Rebuilt less than 5000 miles ago with an .030 overbore, it runs like new and makes good power and torque thanks to a few choice upgrades. Gorgeous finned aluminum valve covers and a chrome air cleaner give it a high-performance look, while a chrome alternator adds some eye candy. Note all the new hardware, hoses, clamps, and wiring used throughout-there's almost nothing under the hood that's more than a few years old. The TH400 automatic was rebuilt at the same time and shifts crisply driving a 12-bolt rear. A custom dual exhaust system with Flowmasters was fabricated, and it certainly appears that things like the springs, shocks, bushings and other components have been replaced. It rolls on a set of beautiful American Racing rims with 255/60/17 Michelin tires. With receipts dating back more than 35 years and a known ownership history, this is a truck you can buy with confidence. They simply don't get much nicer than this. Call today!
