1967 Chevrolet C10 for sale in Charlotte, North Carolina

$13,995

This 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup boasts just three owners from new, and has been repainted in its original code 503 Light Green. With V8 power and the always-stylish short bed and regular cab styling, this is a wonderful cruiser that can still earn its keep around the house. Cosmetically restored about 8 years ago, this truck still turns heads going down the street. There arent many car guys who dont have a fond memory of vehicles like this working around us every day, and the C10 in particular has secured a spot as one of the most handsome late-model designs. The panels are extremely straight, and maybe thats because the truck never really worked in a commercial capacity, or perhaps it was just careful ownership. Whatever the case, it fits together very nicely today. The paint work was done to a good standard, and theres great gloss and a smooth finish throughout. Although there is a spot on the drivers side rear where a recent touch-up was done, and it isnt quite a perfect match, but its an easy fix that could be knocked out in a weekend. Otherwise, the body and paint are in very nice condition for their age, and adding the white cab top is a traditional touch that really works well on this truck. Lots of care has been put into this one over the years, and youll see it in places like the bed, which was refinished to better than new condition. A flush-fitting tonneau cover gives you a four-by-six foot trunk thats weather tight. The black vinyl interior is wonderfully simple, but stylish in a way that only trucks seem to be able to pull off. Theres a wide, comfortable bench seat that can handle three across seating, and upholstered door panels that soften the trucks interior nicely. Factory gauges provide the vitals, assisted by a set of Sunpro auxiliary gauges hanging underneath the center stack. A color-matched steering column recalls shades of the 50s, and is additional evidence that seafoam green was the trucks original hue. Youll also note interesting details like the heater and radio block-off plates, which is highly unusual for a truck built as late as 1967, but it also makes it incredibly authentic, while also making it easy to install your own upgraded equipment, if thats the direction you choose to go. The engine is a non-original 283 cubic inch V8 which advertises itself as an L77 283/220 horsepower piece that was available in the full-sized Chevys of the mid-60s. Augmented by a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock intake, its a reliable, powerful combination that moves the truck easily with great V8 sounds. Everywhere you look theres evidence of caring maintenance, and it shows no needs, with fresh hoses and belts, along with recent plugs and wires. Rams horn exhaust manifolds feed a custom dual exhaust system, and the original coil-spring rear suspension is augmented by a set of coil-over helper shocks. Power steering and power brakes make it a pleasure to drive, and the original Rally-style wheels add just the right look wearing fat 255/70/15 Uniroyal white letter radials. This is a clean, honest truck that could be the foundation of something truly spectacular or enjoyed just as it is. Give us a call today and well tell you all about it.
