2011 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in Charlotte, North Carolina

$79,900

To celebrate the hundredth anniversary of The Greatest Spectacle in Racing Chevrolet issued a special edition 2011 Camaro that emulates the style of its own legendary 1969 Indy 500 pace car. Featuring traditional orange and white paint and a custom leather interior, only 500 of these fully loaded replica cars were produced, and the first one crossed Barrett-Jacksons Las Vegas auction block for $225K. With only 81 miles on its odometer and plastic still covering its seats, this 2011 Camaro is one of only 100 Indy 500 pace car replicas equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and packs top of the line Camaro SS performance into instantly recognizable good looks.
According to the cars original window sticker, the $6500 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car package includes:
The Rally Sport appearance package 20 inch polished aluminum wheels Summit White paint An Inferno Orange accent interior package with white instrument panel and door inserts Full body Inferno Orange rally stripes Indianapolis 500 door decals A unique body colored front grille insert An Inferno Orange engine cover Indianapolis 500 logo headrests Premium floor mats Footwell and cupholder lighting
This new Camaro was ordered by Reedman Toll Auto World in Langhorne Pennsylvania and like many of our low-mileage, factory-fresh pieces, presents as new in every conceivable way. The cars body panels display a glossy coat of GM Summit White that, based on its smooth appearance, has never seen any rain or bad weather and probably hasnt seen much time outside of a building at all. On top of that smooth Summit White, full body Inferno Orange racing stripes run across the center of the car from the bottom of the front air dam to the top of the rear splitter. At the nose of the car, a GM Heritage grille sits below an SS exclusive mail slot hood scoop and combines the best visual elements of both the first generation and third generation Camaros into an aggressive, retro inspired design. Housed within that grille is a chrome trimmed Chevrolet bowtie and RS specific HID headlights with trick halos which complement the cars round halogen fog lights. Above the windshield, a tight fitting black cloth top houses a glass rear window and, like the paint, shows no weathering or wear at all. At the sides of the car, sculpted rear view mirrors sit atop body panels that take the classic lines of first generation Camaros and blend them with surface detailing inspired by an F-22 fighter jet. On the front fenders youll find chrome Camaro emblems that align just below the cars center body line, and on the rear fenders youll find black louver inserts that were inspired by the 1969 Camaro Rally Sport. On the doors of the car, replica pace car graphics display Inferno Orange and black lettering in a style that recalls the aforementioned 1969 Camaro. The rear of the car displays prominent fender ridges that emphasize the cars width and evoke an awesome crouched tiger appearance. The rear decklid features a third brake light, a shark fin satellite radio antenna and a subtle rear decklid spoiler. Below that spoiler, four chrome trimmed RS tail lights add a new twist to a traditional Chevrolet look. The rear bumper houses small square reverse lights above a black air splitter with two polished stainless exhaust tips. In the center of the trunk youll find another chrome trimmed Chevrolet bowtie, and just above the passenger side tail lights, a red SS emblem seems subtle but appropriate.
Under the hood youll find a stout 6.2 liter Generation IV LS3 V8 that is exclusive to the 6-speed Camaro SS and provides a factory warrantied 426 horsepower and 420 lb./ft. of torque. It utilizes a cast aluminum block, high flow aluminum heads, a high flow intake manifold, an aggressive camshaft, offset intake rocker arms, upgraded sequential fuel injection and coil near plug firing to provide a 10.7:1 compression ratio and virtually unmatched street car performance. Dressed in a cool Camaro exclusive shroud that has been painted Inferno Orange to match the cars stripes and interior, the motor is as clean as the day it left the factory floor and fits snug inside the cars wide engine bay. There are no leaks or squeaks of any kind and everything from the Camaro convertible exclusive strut tower brace to the cars oil pan is completely new and untouched.
At the bottom of this Camaro youll find a slick-shifting Tremec 6060 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to a factory equipped limited slip rear end with sporty but fuel conscious 3.45 gears. That transmission and rear end are housed in a sophisticated, Nurburgring tested all-independent performance suspension with stabilizer bars and coils at all four corners. The cars handling benefits from GMs Stabilitrak traction and stability control, variable ratio power steering and four wheel vented disc brakes that are supplied by Brembo, exclusive to the Camaro SS and feature a standard anti-lock system with electronic brake distribution. Sitting in front of those Brembo and Chevrolet branded calipers are 20 inch polished aluminum wheels that wear Chevrolet bowtie center caps and 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Pirelli P Zero performance radials. This car is a spectacular all-around performer that has truly earned the right to wear the vaunted Camaro nameplate.
Open the cars doors and the first thing youll notice is a pair of highly detailed chrome Indy 500 sill plates. Above those sill plates, the cars six way power adjustable heated seats are covered in Inferno Orange and Ebony leather and feature cool Indy 500 logos on the headrests. Detailed with Inferno Orange stitching and extremely comfortable, these buckets position you perfectly to look out of the cars cool gun slit style windows and provide enough grip to hold you in place for this cars aggressive driving capabilities. At the front of the interior, the retro themed dash houses GMs acclaimed Head UP Display above a Summit White and Inferno Orange insert and a silver trimmed gauge pod that includes a speedometer, tachometer and driver information center. At the center of the dash, buttons for the cars climate control and the cars AM/FM radio which incorporates a Boston Acoustics 9 speaker sound system and 10 inch subwoofer, a CD player, an MP3 jack, Bluetooth connectivity and XM satellite all into one killer sound system. Above the center stack youll find a self-dimming rearview mirror with built in Onstar, and below the center stack, the cars console houses optional silver trimmed four pack gauges, and a leather wrapped shifter and console lid that include Inferno Orange stitching. The tilt and telescoping steering wheel features redundant audio controls, cruise control, silver spokes and a leather rim with Inferno Orange thread, and on the cars stylish door panels youll find controls for the power windows, controls for the power adjustable, self-dimming rear view mirrors, chrome door handles and Summit White door inserts above arm rests with more Inferno Orange stitching. Safety features include intermittent wipers, a tire pressure monitoring system, power door locks and remote keyless entry, a theft deterrent system, dual front airbags and seat mounted side impact airbags ...For more information please call the seller.
