Meet Prissy, a 3 year old, 53 pound, Staffordshire Terrier. She has a heart of gold and will kiss you to no end. She is currently working on her manners as she likes to jump, so she may not be the best fit for small children. She is a true people pleaser and sticks to her human like glue. She loves to play with others but can catch a hint when that may not be welcomed. She has moderate energy and loves to run and play outside. She would make an awesome hiking buddy, but could also settle for snuggles on the couch.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
