My story
Meet our little Princess named Prissy. This Boxer/Pit mix girl was rescued off a busy intersection in Nashville TN approximately 8 years ago and was believed to be about one year old at the time, which makes her about 9 now. The man that took her into his home at that time recently became ill and had to leave the state without her. It broke her heart and she tried to regroup and put her dog life back together again and look for a new home. She has been with a foster family since that time in early March, but as fate would have it, they are about to move to another country and cannot take her with them. Once again Princess Prissy will be heart broken and is still in need of a loving forever home. This girl just needs a retired couple or person to go gently into the golden years with. What a devoted and loving companion she would be for someone that wants a dog that bonds easily, loves people and cats, but is not good with other dogs. We fear she was used for a bait dog for fighting in her youth. Prissy is super loving, likes to give kisses, be close to “her people”, loves to go on car rides, is good on-leash, house broken and still enjoys her toys! She weighs about 60 pounds, is spayed and up to date with all her vaccinations. Her previous owner named her Prissy because she “prisses and prances” when she is happy! Prissy has so much love to give; will you be the lucky recipient of her heart??
